All SYC members pay two fees:

1. A one-time Membership (joining) Fee
2. Annual Dues (annual; all members pay them every year)

These two separate expenses are further defined below:

Save $25 by paying your dues by April 1, 2024.

MEMBERSHIP/Joining Fee:

Membership at Colonial Heights Swim & Yacht Club, Inc. requires a one-time membership fee; currently, $375 is defined as ONE immediate family group residing in ONE household.

The NEW minimum age for single member annual dues is 12 years of age. Membership (1 time Joining) fee is unchanged for single or family.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES:
1. This applies to minors 12-18 that are a dependent child in the household.
2. All other family members in the household would be subject to the $5.00 guest fee.
3. The single membership may be upgraded at any time to a family membership by paying the additional $100 Annual Dues.

Dependent children on the membership must be under the age of 25. Colonial Heights Swim & Yacht Club, Inc. offers four types of payment plans for the membership fee:

• Full Payment

• $375 with application and dues

• One-Year Plan

• $175 with application and dues
• $100 by June 1, 2024
• $100 by July 1, 2024

• Three-Year Plan

• $175 with 2024 annual dues
• $125 with 2025 annual dues
• $125 with 2026 annual dues

• Military Plan
  (at least one spouse of the requesting family is actively serving in a USA or Allied branch of Armed Forces)

• $100 with application and dues and $100 per year until the current membership fee is satisfied

ANNUAL DUES

Annual membership dues are established by the Board of Directors. ALL members must pay annual dues in addition to the initial Membership joining fee.  NO member shall use pool facilities until current year dues, and any outstanding membership fee balance is paid in-full. Statements are sent annually to previous members not later than early March for the upcoming summer.

Annual Dues (for all active/participating members)

• Family Member Dues:
• 1 payment of $425 by April 1, 2024
• $450 April 2 to September 2
• Single/Individual Memberships (deduct $100.00)
• 1 payment of $325 by April 1, 2024
• $350 as of/ starting April 2, 2024

MEMBERSHIP RIDERS

SYC offers two types of membership riders …

1. GRANDPARENT / GRANDCHILDREN MEMBERSHIP

Colonial Heights Swim & Yacht Club, Inc. offers an annual ‘grandparent and/or grandchild(ren)’ membership rider to all SYC members in good standing (membership fee, dues and special fees paid).

• A grandparent who is a member may include grandchildren on his / her membership at a cost of $100 for the first child and $50 for each additional child
• A grandparent who is a non-member may be included on the grandchild's family membership at a cost of $100 for the first grandparent and $50 for the second grandparent.

2. BABY-SITTER non-Member Rider

A babysitter (age 14 or older) rider may be included with member annual dues per year. The rider may include a non-pool member for $80 for the summer. This fee is non-refundable, and the babysitter may only use the pool facilities when accompanying the member child/children. The non-member sitter may not use the pool without the member's family child/children and must leave when the member's children leave. 

Both fees are payable yearly.
